How An Atomizer Works?

The atomizer, an essential component of a vape system, is responsible for heating the cannabis oil within the cartridge and converting it into vapor. When the vape is activated, the atomizer heats up to the appropriate temperature, allowing the oil to vaporize, which can then be inhaled.

Atomizers are constructed using various materials, including cotton wicks, quartz, and ceramic. Ceramic coils consist of a wire wrapped around a small ceramic cylinder. These coils can withstand high voltages and possess excellent heat retention properties. Quartz coils, on the other hand, heat up quickly but do not retain heat as effectively as ceramic coils.

Cotton wick atomizers feature a coil of wire wrapped around a small cotton wick. The wick absorbs the cannabis oil, which is then heated by the atomizer element. However, a disadvantage of these atomizers is that the wick is susceptible to burning. When the wick burns, it can result in an unpleasant taste, necessitating the replacement of the coil.
